Alyssa DiMaio - Grade 5 Teacher
Welcome! My name is Alyssa DiMaio and I joined the St. Mark School community in fall 2020.
I am beyond excited to be the fifth-grade teacher at St. Mark School! Prior to this, I was a special education teacher at Fairfield Public Schools for 3 years. I received my Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education, Special Education, and English Literature from Southern Connecticut State University. I am currently going back to school for my Master’s in Remedial Reading and Language Arts at Fairfield University.
I am newly married and live in Black Rock with my husband, Alex, and our cat, Archie. When I’m not teaching, I love to cook, watch movies, and drink iced coffee!
I was fortunate enough to attend St. Mark School many years ago. The sense of community drew me back to the place that has inspired me to become a teacher! I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
