About Us

St. Mark School is proud to be a New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accredited school.

St. Mark School is unique from other local private and public schools in Stratford, CT. St. Mark School is a 2009 Blue Ribbon School of Academic Excellence  situated in the North End neighborhood. We provide an academically rigorous, faith-based education to children in grades Pre-K through 8, including full day Pre-K and Kindergarten. But, that’s not all that makes St. Mark special!

Our school day runs from 7:45 am to 2:10 pm. An
After School Program is available for all students from dismissal to 6:00 pm – even on early dismissal days.

We offer a full-day Pre-K program. Students must be 3 years old by September 1st to enroll in PreK-3 class and 4 years old by September 1st to enroll in PreK-4 class.

We Provide Personalized Learning
At St. Mark, we are committed to the intellectual, spiritual, moral, social, and physical development of each child. We value diversity and recognize the individuality of every student. Through our Personalized Learning Initiative, we develop a deep knowledge of every student and personalize instruction to ensure all students achieve both academic and personal goals.

We Partner in Education and Development
Our small and close-knit school community allows us to get to know our students and their families. St. Mark students and families form long-lasting bonds and meaningful relationships with each other, our teachers and administrators. These relationships are the foundation of the partnership in each child’s personal development and education.

We Instill the Value of Service
Service is at the core of our teachings. St. Mark students learn the value of looking outside of themselves and giving to those in need in our community. For example, to date this year, the St. Mark community hosted:
